私どもも京料理さくらいさんより恵方巻きをいただき、
「福」と「徳」を運んでくる神様がいる恵方（東北東）を向いて
スタッフ全員でおいしくいただきました。
さくらいさん、毎年ありがとうございます。
節分の日は一年の結びの日ともいわれるそうです。
明日からまた新たな気持ちで、価値ある瞬間を創造できますよう努めて参ります。

Today is “Setsubun”.
Sakurai (ryoutei restaurant) kindly delivered us “ehoumaki (sushi roll which is eaten on Setsubun)”
We enjoyed tasty “ehoumaki” with all the staff, facing to the “ehou” altogether.
“Ehou” means the lucky direction of this year(=east-northeast), and it is said that the god of “Fuku(=luck)” and “Toku(=virtue)” lives in the “ehou” direction.
Thanks for the delicious “ehoumaki”, Sakurai.
I heard that “Setsubun” means the last day of the year in the old calendar.
We will turn a new leaf and try further effort to create precious moment for our clients from tomorrow.

We held a trial fitting event of Japanese kimonos and wigs today at LST Tokyo.
“To wear kimono at the wedding ceremony sounds great, but I’m not sure about the wig.”
“I have a bitter experience with a wig when I tried ‘Maiko’ style.”
“Does kimono look OK with my short hair?”
Many brides worry about wearing the kimono and the wig which they are not used to wear. And to address their concerns, we are holding this event every month.
Some brides came to the event with the grooms,
some were with their mothers,
and some were by themselves.
All the brides looked a bit nervous when they had arrived, but they had smiles on their faces after the event.
They must have been convinced that they would make beautiful brides.
We would like many brides to wear the traditional kimonos at their wedding.

We provided our service at the wedding performed at Kamigamo Shrine early this morning and the wedding reception at Sakurai (ryoutei restaurant) after that.
Before the wedding ceremony, the bride expressed her gratitude to her parents in the dressing room.
I heard her words behind the door. Each word was filled with her sincere thankfulness.
It’s one of the most precious moments in your life when you tell “thank you” to your parents before the wedding.
I was so touched and found myself close to tears.
The flower arrangement with “ume” (Japanese plum) was very beautiful and matched the image of the couple.

本日、料亭左阿彌さんで久志様と加奈様のお写真撮影をさせていただきました。
お二人様は2月にご結婚式を控えておられるカップル様で、
ご結婚式当日にはされない、和装&鬘スタイルでの撮影を行いました。
お背がスラッとされているので、モデルさんのようでした！
- 白無垢・色打掛とも京都の有名な作家さんのお着物です。
柔らかく鮮やかな風合い、本当に素敵。
- The shiromuku (white kimono) and the irouchikake (kimono with colors) were designed by a famous kimono designer in Kyoto. They were beautiful; with soft touch and bright colors.
- ご家族様、女将さんと囲んで記念写真をおさめさせていただきました。
- We took a photo of both families together with Okami (=madam) of Saami.

お母様の思いから本日の撮影にいたりました。

Today, we did the photo shooting of Hisashi-sama and Kana-sama at ryoutei Saami.
They are going to get married in February.
They had their photos taken in Kimono today, as they will not wear them on the day of the wedding.
Both of them were very tall and looked like models!
“I would like to have my daughter’s wedding photos in kimono.”
Today’s photo shooting was taken place following a wish of the bride’s mother.
The parents’ eyes were dimmed with tears while they were watching their son and daughter posing for the photo in kimono.
We were also moved by such a scene.
We are thankful for the wonderful time and very good “goen (=opportunity to meet)” today. I hope they will enjoy the day of their wedding as well.
I wish them and their families happiness for many years to come.

上賀茂神社にて結婚式
京料理さくらいにて会食会のサポートをさせて頂きました。
ご両親様と親族様をご招待して「感謝の気持ちを伝えたい。」という新郎新婦様のご希望による温かい雰囲気のご会食会でしたね。
- 会場のクロスから白を基調にされた爽やかな雰囲気は新郎新婦様らしくて、とても素敵です。
- The table setting with white as the base color well represented the fresh image of the bride and groom.
皆様が自由にお酌をし合い、身内だけの和やかで温かい雰囲気の会食会でございました。
- 引菓子は新婦様がデザインされたオリジナルの千寿せんべいです。
- The “Hikigashi (one of the souvenirs for the guests)” was the original “Senju Senbei (celebratory sandwich waffle)” designed by the bride.
身内だけの心温まる結婚式もすごく素敵です。

We provided our service for the wedding ceremony at Kamigamo Shrine and the wedding reception at Sakurai (ryoutei restaurant) on Sunday, January 26th.
The reception was arranged by the bride and groom, as they wanted to invite their parents and relatives to express their gratitude towards them.
It was a very nice reception in the warm atmosphere.
As the guests were limited to their families and relatives, everyone could enjoy the reception in a friendly atmosphere while filling the glasses of sake each other.
I found it was very nice to hold a warm wedding ceremony like this with just families.

1月18日（土曜日）「平安神宮」にてご結婚式、その後「高台寺 土井」にてご披露宴のサポートさせて頂きました。
- 当日、LSTのお支度部屋から聞こえる新郎新婦様の楽しそうなお声やお母様の笑顔が印象的です。
- I could hear the joyful voice of the bride from the dressing room in the morning of the wedding. The happy tone of her voice still stays in my ears.
- ご披露宴では和やかな乾杯の発声から始まりとても楽しいご披露宴でございましたね。
披露宴の中では「芸妓舞妓さんの祝舞」の披露などゲストの皆様もすごく喜ばれていました。
- The reception started with a cheerful “toast”, and the whole reception was through in the happy atmosphere with lots of laughers.
All the guests admired the performance by the pair of Geiko and Maiko which was arranged according to a request from the groom.
新郎新婦様からは披露宴の後、とてもうれしいメールを頂きました。

「ゲストの皆様もたいへん楽しかったとお言葉を頂きました。そして、私たちは一生の素晴らしい思い出にする事ができました。」

We provided our service for the wedding ceremony at Heian Jingu Shrine and the wedding reception at Kodaiji Doi (ryoutei restaurant) on Saturday, January 18th.
They sent me a heart-warming email after the wedding.
from the groom:
“All the guests mentioned that they had a really good time. And we could make the day as a wonderful life-long memory.”
from the bride:
“On the day of wedding, the time passed so quick while I enjoyed posing for the photos and changing the kimonos…it was so fun and I was surprised how quickly the day was over.
Many of our guests told us they had never seen such a reception and had really enjoyed it.
And each time we see the photos, we are convinced that it surely was a good day.

We held a wedding consultation meeting at Doshisha University on January 26th.
At the chapel of Doshisha University, the wedding ceremony is always performed solemnly and religiously.
We’ve heard many couples and their guests saying “I’ve never experienced such an authentic wedding ceremony performed at the chapel”.
We’ve got many bookings at this chapel in this Spring as well, and we will do our best to make the each wedding ceremony fantastic.

先日、東京店スタッフ全員で京都へ行ってまいりました。
今回の目的は1月19日に京都本店サロンの横にオープンした「お誂えサロン」。
出来上がりを楽しみにしていたので、わくわくした気持ちで扉を開けました。
そして、1歩入ると、自然と「わぁ〜」と声が出てしまいました。
広々とした空間にずらっと並ぶ衣装。
「結婚式を創る楽しみ」がコンセプトだと聞いていたので、なるほど。と納得。
ここで、新郎様、新婦様、そしてご家族様は「これから、あれかな、…」と結婚式当日を思い描きながら、さまざまな想いを抱かれる姿が想像できます。
そして、そんな様子を近くで見れることは私たちプランナーにとって、とても嬉しいことです。

We, LST Tokyo staff, traveled to Kyoto the other day.
Our purpose was to visit the newly opened “Oatsurae salon” next to our head office.
We were so excited, as everyone had longed for the opening of it.
“Wow!”, cheers arose from us naturally, as we entered the salon.
An array of so many kimonos in the spacious room.
This is exactly a place “to enjoy the process to create one’s wedding”, I totally understand and agreed the concept of this salon.
In this place, brides, grooms and their family members will be thinking about the wedding ceremonies they are going to experience while they are selecting the costumes.
Watching such scenes closely will be the great pleasure for us (planners) too.
Having visited “Oatsurae salon”, I realized again that we would like to share the joy or worry of our clients and propose the unique wedding for each couple.
I really hope to see many smiles in this newly opened space.

本日、上賀茂神社へ行って参りました。
西日が朱色の鳥居をより美しく映し出しており、思わずカメラを向けてしまいました。
- 鳥居の傍に咲いているのは「椿(ツバキ)」の花。
- The Camelias are in full bloom next to Torii(gate).
早春から美しく咲くことから「椿」と表され、古来より日本人に親しまれた花でもあり
目にすると自然と懐かしい気持ちになります。
上賀茂神社へ行く度に清々しい気持ちをいただいています。

Today, I visited Kamigamo Shrine.
The late afternoon sunlight made clear the silhouette of bright red Torii(gate) and I could not help turning my camera to the beautiful scene.
The character for the camellia consists of “tree” and “spring” as it starts to bloom in early spring.
It has been loved by Japanese people since ancient times, and I feel somewhat nostalgic when I see the camellia flowers.
Each time I visited Kamigamo shrine, I got my spirit refreshed.
