We supported a wedding reception held at “YOSHIDA SANSO”.
The bride and groom prepared for the reception with the theme “to express gratitude to their family and relatives who brought them up”.
They prepared the traditional sweets of Kyoto and talked to each guest filling the glass with sake one by one.
They spent peaceful time with their family.
Then the bride read a letter to her parents to whom she wanted to thank more than anybody.
Since their first visit to our salon, this couple with the tender hearts kept telling us that they wanted to express their gratitude at the wedding reception.
It was a great pleasure for us to have been able to support the wedding reception for the wonderful couple like them.
We really appreciate the opportunity.
We supported a first wedding ceremony at “Kotoba-kan” in Kyotanabe Campus of Doshisha University.
It was built in March 2015 as a first religious facility in Kyotanabe Campus, and they just started the wedding service this year.
A memorable first wedding ceremony was held there the other day.
It was conducted peacefully in the spacious hall with the couple lighted by gentle sunlight after the rain.
They also had their photos taken in the campus after the wedding.
We learned many things through the conversation with Sakurai people, e.g.about their hospitality to their guests and sincere attitude toward the cooking.
We really appreciate your support, Sakurai. And look forward to working with you from now on too.
“I didn’t know what I should write about.., and I decided that I am going to introduce my parents to everyone by praising them to the sky!”
The guests broke into laughter.
The letter began with such phrase which sounded like really her (the bride)…
She wrote about her father, her mother and her younger brother.
She wrote about them a lot, page after page.
“My family members are …”
As she praised her family, large tears trickled down from her eyes.
The bride tried to express her feeling with her own words and the groom supported her gently with his left arm. And the guests were watching over them.
It was a precious moment
I think it was really great that she delivered her message to her family with her own words.
On the day of their wedding…
This is one scene at LST Salon.
They first met each other four years ago,in Vancouver.
Several seasons have passed, and now they are about to get married.
After getting dressed, they see each other in the wedding costume for the first time.
“Oh! Tomoko…” the groom exclaims.
The couple are approaching each other and tears well up in bride’s eyes.
I’m wondering how they made up their mind and prepared for this day.
It is the first one page of their marriage.
I am sure that it is going to be a great day.
I went to Kiyomizu-Dera Temple on the final day of the Autumn leaves light-up event.
The colored leaves were at its best and so beautiful.
When we visited the main hall, there were no visitors except us and we could pray quietly.
The face of Goddess of Mercy lit up by the candle looked very gentle.
We could have a relaxing time though it was just for a short while.
I felt that it was very important for the busy modern people like us to spend some time in quiet peace and
to admire something beautiful with our own eyes.
