It was a warm wedding ceremony consists of various programs such as a “Wedding Tree” which all the family members participated in, and “Mizuawase-no-gi” for which both families brought a bottle of “sake” from the region.
They once again confirmed the strong family ties.
At the reception, the head chef presented an ice sculpture with the letter “寿” (=auspicious) curved on the surface and all the guests admired it.
The voice, laughter, expressions and tears were full of joy and cerebrating mood.
We are so grateful that we could serve for such a wonderful wedding.

“Kara-ori brocade, Kiyomizu-dera pattern”
This Shiromuku (all white kimono) is made of the top-class “kara-ori” brocade.
The woven patterns are designed with “Otowa-no-taki (water fall)” which is the origin of the temple, famous “Kiyomizu-no-butai (stage)”, “Koyasu-no-toh (tower)” which is believed to bring safe and easy delivery, and the pure spring water flowing through these motives with cherry blossoms and Japanese maple leaves scattered around.
KIYOMIZU-DERA TEMPLE, LST ORIGINAL WEDDING COSTUME
We started rental service of original wedding costume for Kiyomizu-dera Temple wedding.
It took us so much work and hours to create the costume, but we could carry out the task believing that we were helping to preserve the old techniques.
We would like to show the people how wonderful the traditional Kyoto style wedding is.
Also we produced the brochure “Matofu” to introduce the magnificence of the wedding at the World Heritage Sites; Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kamigamo Shrine and Nijo Castle, and the wedding costume.
Recently, I visited a coffee shop that one of our client couples opened. They got married with our service in September, 2012.
When I entered the shop, Mr. Ichikawa was brewing coffee.
It was a nice place where the warmth of wood made you feel relax.
The coffee had a very nice aroma and the sandwich was so good that I wanted to eat more even it was quite filling.
The plates and cups used in the shop were all made by their brother.
It was so good to see Mr. and Mrs. Ichikawa again, and they looked nice as they were three years ago.
We have decided to serve Ichikawa’s coffee at LST.
I am very happy that we can introduce their tasty coffee to many guests who will visit our salon.

“An ideal venue for large number of people. Table-and-chair seating is available.”
We decorated the tables to appeal “freshness” while respecting the luxury atmosphere of “Juraku-den”.
サプライズで舞妓さんの祝舞をご用意いたしました
Maiko’s dance for celebration was performed as a surprise gift for the guests.
CHOJU-DEN
“Has a great view of beautiful green of Maruyama Park.”
LST’s original wedding costumes exclusively designed for the wedding at Kamigamo shrine or Kiyomizu-dera Temple, both designated as the World Heritage site, were displayed.
On August 7th, we held a special event at “Saami (ryoutei restaurant)” to propose our table coordination and interior decoration for the wedding reception.
We would like to show you part of the programs here.
The guests who participated the event gave us many happy remarks;
“It helped a lot for us to imagine what our wedding reception will be.”
“The meal was superb.”
“Since this event gave us a clear image of the day, we can prepare for our own wedding day feeling at ease.”
We will keep trying our best to make our clients more happy.
For that LST will propose very unique and original wedding plans to our clients from now on, too.
We would like to express our sincere thanks for the couples who participated the event, Saami ryoutei restaurant and our partners.
We held a wedding consultancy meeting at Nijo Castle last weekend.
We would like to thank for all the brides and grooms to-be who participated to the event on such a hot day in Summer.
The beautiful garden; Light blue of the sky and vivid green of the trees are making good contrast.
Beautiful “Shidare-zakura (=weeping cherry tree)” in Spring and red and yellow leaves in Autumn will add a touch of color to your wedding.
The air conditioning facility has been newly installed at Koun-tei this year.
The guest couples appreciated the comfort of the spacious room.
A special project to celebrate the 150-years anniversary of “Taisei Houkan (=return of the political power to the emperor)” will be held at Nijo Castle next year and many people are interested in it.
The experience of getting married at this historic Nijo castle, which were often visited by many “Daimyo (=Japanese feudal lord)” in “Edo” period, will surely be your memory for life.
Our next wedding consultancy meeting at Nijo Castle is scheduled on September 19th (Mon./public holiday).
Please come and join the event if you are interested in Nijo Castle wedding.
