本日、3年前に料亭左阿彌さんにてご結婚式を挙げられました、Ｗ様ご家族様の記念日撮影をさせていただきました。
毎年ご結婚記念日には左阿彌さんにてお食事と写真撮影をさせていただき早3年目。
1年目はお腹の中のお子様と一緒にマタニティーフォト、2年目はご誕生されたばかりのお子様とご家族フォト、そして今年は2人目のお子様もご一緒に家族4人での撮影をさせていただきました。
ご結婚式から毎年、左阿彌さん内や円山公園等で撮影をさせていただいておりますが、新婚のお二人だけでのお写真からご家族が増えられた今も同じ場所で同じように並ばれるお姿を見ているととても感慨深く、またご結婚式当日のお姿を思い出されました。
何年も続くご縁をいただけます事、心から感謝しております。
本日は本当にありがとうございました。
また来年もお会いできます事を、スタッフ一同楽しみにしております！

Today, there was a ceremonial photo shooting of Mr. & Mrs. W who had a wedding ceremony at Saami ryoutei restaurant three years ago.
They visit Saami on their wedding anniversary every year, to have lunch and also to have family photos taken.
On the first anniversary, their first child was still in mom’s tummy.
On the second anniversary, they had their family photos taken with their new born baby.
And today, on their third anniversary, they came back with two children.
I was filled with deep emotion when I saw them posing for photos at the same spots as three years ago; at Saami ryoutei restarant or Maruyama Park, but with two children, as a family of four.
I could still recall their figures and faces on their wedding day.
It’s a great honor and pleasure for us to serve our clients for many years.
Thank you so much for coming back to the photo shooting today.
We are looking forward to seeing you again next year.

いつもありがとうございます。

先日、「和食」が国連教育科学文化機関（ユネスコ）の

“Kyouryouri Kinobu (Kyoto Cuisine Kinobu)” is the place where many of our clients hold their wedding banquet.
The chef of Kinobu visited our Kyoto office the other day.
He brought us “Miso marinated perch”.

At Kinobu, they serve dishes created with flexibility without restricted by the traditional way of Japanese cooking.

昨日、京料理さくらいさんの皆様とお食事をご一緒させて頂きました。
毎年、1年を振り返りながらご結婚式のことやお客様のこと、日々のことを
ご一緒にお話しさせていただける貴重な楽しいひとときです。
昨日のお食事会では日々の「ご縁」についてお話しくださいました。
たくさんの「ひと」や「もの」があふれる中で、出会えるご縁があり
偶然出会えたご縁がいつまでも、いつまでも繋がってゆくご縁もあること。
上賀茂神社では結婚式をされたお客様が1年後また神社に御祈祷に参られる際に
偶然担当させていただいたお客様と出逢うことが沢山あります。
先日はＬＳＴでサポートさせていただいた新郎新婦様がお子様と一緒に参拝されていて私に「8年前にＬＳＴのＴさんに担当いただいたんです。」と声をかけてくださいました。
私は上賀茂神社と京料理さくらいさんで結婚式を主に担当させていただいて丸4年になりますが「ご縁」に心から感謝しております。

Yesterday, we had a dinner with people form Sakurai (ryoutei restaurant).
It’s an annual event, and we always have a good time talking with them about our clients, the wedding banquets they held at Sakurai or just everyday topics.
We talked about “go-en”(=fate) yesterday.
There are so many “people” and so many “things” in the world, yet there is a “go-en”(fate) that lead us to meet someone or find something.
An encounter by chance could result in the long relationship which lasts forever.
At Kamigamo Shrine, we often meet our clients by chance who come back the shrine on their first wedding anniversary to offer a prayer.
Recently, a couple with their child came to me to say “Ms.T of LST arranged our wedding 8 years ago.”
I’ve been in charge of Kamigamo Shrine and Sakurai(ryoutei restaurant) in LST for 4 years now and I always thank my “go-en” from bottom of my heart.
I would like to thank everyone of Sakurai for the wonderful time yesterday.

先日上賀茂神社・さくらいさんにご披露宴をなされたI様ご夫妻は
挙式2日前にMACHIYAサロンにて撮影頂きました。

何十年もの長い年月を経て、そして新たな門出を迎えるにあたりご用意なされた

ふと四文字熟語が頭をよぎりました。
「報恩謝徳」
意味は受けためぐみや恩に対してむくいようと、感謝の気持を持つこと。
ご家族様や親御様の想いをくみとりたいせつになされる新婦様
きっと幸せなご家庭を築いていかれることと思います。
メイクリハーサル時にお母様のご結婚式のお写真を見せてくださいました。
「同じポーズでお写真残しませんか」とお尋ねした際の
嬉しそうな新婦様のお顔が忘れられません。
また何十年先にこの時のお写真が登場するのを楽しみにしています

Mr. & Mrs. I got married at Kamigamo Shrine and held their wedding banquet at Sakurai(ryoutei restaurant) recently.
They had their wedding photos taken at Machiya salon two days before their wedding.
Embarking a new chapter on her life, the bride were wearing these precious pieces which she had inherited from her grandmother after many years.
The way she handled and wore these items with great care reminded me of a phrase “hou-on-sha-toku”.
“hou-on-sha-toku”
Its meaning is “Be grateful for the blessings, and thankful of the virtue”.
I believe she will make a happy family, as she is a kind of person who respects her parents and family members’ feelings.
She showed me a photo of her mother in the wedding dress.
I’ll never forget her delighted expression when I told her “Would you like to take a photo posing like your mother in this photo?”
I hope this photo will be also kept and watched over several decades.

We held a “wedding consultation meeting” at Imadegawa Campus in Doshisha University today.
From Hokkaido in the North to Fukuoka in the South, many couples joined the meeting and toured the Chapel and the Byron Stone Clarke Memorial Hall that could be the venue for their wedding ceremony.
The chapel was completed in Meiji 19(1886) and the Byron Clark Memorial Hall was built with the donation from Mr. and Mrs. Clark.
Both buildings are historic and designated as national important cultural properties.
We guarantee that it would make the wedding a memorable event, if you have a wedding ceremony performed at these precious properties.
I could see the couples couldn’t help smiling visualizing themselves on their wedding day and the faces of their friends attending it.

In Imadegawa Campus, they started the Christmas illumination on the Cedar tree.
People walking by stop to take photos of beautiful tree with blue and yellow lights blinking.
There must be many graduates who come back here to see this big Christmas tree every year.

Recently, Mr. & Mrs. S visited LST salon to say hello.
They got married in September, at the chapel of Doshisha University.
On the day of their wedding, they looks so happy favored by fine weather.
Their bright smiles were shining in the campus of Doshisha University which they graduated from.
They told us many stories about their first visit to LST salon one year ago, all the preparation for the wedding ceremony, the day of their wedding, pie toss at the party with their friends, a honeymoon trip, their new life together and work etc….
I enjoyed their stories and was very happy to see them living fulfilling life together.
It has been just two months from their wedding, but I recall the days working for them somewhat nostalgically.

本日も上賀茂神社さんでご婚礼のサポートをさせていただいていたところ特別なタクシーに出会いました。
11月28日（いいふたばの日）ということで本日から運行が開始された
神紋「二葉葵」をデザインしたタクシーです。
「あふひ」とは古代より多くの歌の中で用いられる「葵（あおい）」のこと。
「ひ」にめぐり「あふ」為、縁が語源となっています。
その良い縁を作ると言われている二葉葵をモチーフにした特別なタクシー。
21年に1度行われる式年遷宮に合わせ平成27年10月末までの2年間限定で
良縁を願って運行されたそうです。
出会える確率は600分の1とのこと。
特別な瞬間に出会うことができ幸運な1日でした。

While I was visiting Kamigamo shrine to support our clients’ wedding, I saw a special taxi.
They just started the service with this special designed taxi today, on November 28th “Good Futaba(cotyledon) day”.
Shimmon(a crest of shrine) “Futaba Aoi” is emblazoned on the car.
“Aoi(hollyhock)” was written “Ahuhi” in past times and can be found in many Waka(Japanese traditional poems).
“Ahu” has the meaning of “to meet” and “hi” has a meaning of “day”, so “Ahu-hi” can represent “En”(chance or fate to meet).
“Aoi” is believed to create good “En”, so this special taxi is designed with “Aoi” leaves wishing good “En” for their clients.
You’ll have a chance to find this car until end October in Heisei 27(for two years) when “Shikinen Sengu” of Kamigamo shrine is completed.
(*Shikinen Sengu is taken place every 21years in Kamigamo shrine. They renovate or rebuild the constructions.)
The ratio you can encounter this taxi is 1/600.
I was so lucky to find one today!

土井さんのお庭の紅葉が今まさに見頃で
ご披露宴にご参列のお客様もお庭に感動されていました。
土井さんのお庭は小川治兵衛の作庭。
滝が流れるお庭は、みる人を「静」の世界に導き、
時の流れがとまったかのような感覚を覚えます。

Today I went “Kodaiji Doi” (ryoutei restaurant) to support our clients’ wedding.
There, Autumn leaves are their best and the guests of the banquet admired the beautiful garden which was designed by Jihei Ogawa.
The garden with a stream and waterfall invites the people to the world of silence.
You may feel like the flux of time has stopped to flow…
Kodaiji Doi respects the spirit of Sado, “serving with a hearty hospitality”.
The combination of the excellent dishes prepared with the best ingredients on the day and the exquisite view of the garden.
