5月31日は今年の3月迄一緒に仕事をさせていただいていたLSTプランナーＭさんの結婚式。

晴天の中、上賀茂神社で厳かな結婚式が執り行われました。

彼女はプランナー時代から自分が結婚式を挙げるときは　上賀茂神社&料亭左阿彌さんで･･･と　いつも夢を描いていました。

左阿彌さんでの披露宴はゲストの方々やパートナー会社の皆様にも祝福して頂きアットホームで心温まる雰囲気でしたね。

彼女の一層輝く笑顔と　大粒の涙を間近で見る度に 私も涙をこらえながらサポートさせていただきました。

たいせつな方々に　見守られ　幸せそうに過ごす姿は
私にとっても忘れられない　かけがえのない一日となりました。

ヒマワリが咲く季節に産まれた新婦の南帆子さん
太陽のようにキラキラ輝くLSTにとってのヒマワリのような存在でした。

My colleague M whom I had worked with at LST until March got married on May 31st.
Under the blue sky, they had a solemn wedding ceremony at Kamigamo shrine.

While she was working as a wedding planner at LST, it has always been her dream to have her own wedding at Kamigamo shrine and Saami ryoutei restaurant.

The wedding reception at Saami was really in warm and cozy atmosphere, which was celebrated not only by their guests but also LST’s business partners.

I did my best to support their wedding although it was hard for me to hold back my tears when I saw her smiling and then crying for joy.

They looked so happy surrounded by their precious people.
The day became unforgettable for me, too.

Nahoko, the bride, was born in the season of sunflower.
She is really like a sunflower, and always shined like the sun in LST.
I wish her to spend the happy shining life with her husband for long.

上賀茂神社でご家族だけのご結婚式がありました。

厳粛に執り行われたご結婚式のあと、新郎新婦様とご家族が向かった先は、とある住宅。

立ち寄ったお家の中では、挙式にはご参列いただけなかった新婦家のおじい様がいらっしゃいました。

挙式の数日前、おじい様のご体調が芳しくなく、ご欠席されるとのこと。
でも、「花嫁姿をどうしても見てもらいたい！」との想いから、ご自宅へ立ち寄ることをご相談いただきました。

もちろんスタッフ共々、寄り道させていただきました！

美しい花嫁姿をご披露し、一緒に記念撮影。
そして、おじい様立会いのもと婚姻届にご署名もされました。

ご結婚式を通じて、とても素敵なおじい様孝行をされた新郎新婦様。
サポートさせて頂いたスタッフ一同も、ご家族への想いが伝わり温かい気持ちになりました。

It was still an early spring.

They had a wedding ceremony at Kamigamo shrine which was attended by just family members.

After the solemn ceremony, the bride and groom headed for one house.

In the house was a bride’s grandfather who was not able to attend the wedding ceremony.

A few days earlier, I was told that their grandfather fell sick and he would not attend the wedding.
But they wanted him to see his granddaughter as a bride and asked us to arrange the visit to him after the ceremony.

Of course, we all agreed to their idea and made a visit to him all together.

The bride could show herself in beautiful wedding costume to her grandfather and took a photo with him.
Then the couple signed the marriage paper in front of him.

Their thoughtful act on the wedding day made it a great present to their grandfather.
All the LST staff who attended at the ceremony could share the warm feeling.
We were so happy that we could serve them.

I wish both families’ happiness and prosperity for long.

晴れ渡った青空の下、世界遺産二条城にて
「第一回 LST二条城ウェディング現地相談会」を開催いたしました。

通常立ち入ることのできない清流園や香雲亭は
これまで挙式当日にしか開放されない特別な場所…
「実際の挙式場を見学してみたい」というお客様のお声から
今年度より現地相談会の開催が可能になりました。

We held a wedding consultation event at the world heritage “Nijo Castle” under the clear blue sky.

Seiryu-en(garden) and Koun-tei are the special places where visitors are not allowed.
And even the couples who got married at Nijo Castle could stepped into these places only on the day of the wedding.

With our clients’ voice that they want to have a look of the site in advance, we finally managed to have the first consultation meeting there.

The flower arrangement placed at the Tokonoma(=Alcove) or live Koto(Japanese harp) music will be in the memory of the guests as a warm hospitality.

We are pleased to hear various favorable comments from the guests who participated in the event.

• “It was great to see the actual site.”
• “They were far beyond my expectation, although I watched them in the brochure and films in advance.”
• “I couldn’t believe that we could have a tea ceremony with that gorgeous view of the garden.”
• “We’d love to come back to the next event with our parents.”
• And one of the tourists who visited Nijo Castle asked me how much it will cost to have a wedding ceremony there, and she was surprised to know it.

Tomohisa-sama, Kumiko-sama, congratulations on your wedding!

The wedding ceremony was performed at the Chapel of Doshisha University where the groom had graduated from.

The photographing of a handsome groom and a pretty bride reminded me of a scene out of a movie or a novel.

We supported so many couples to get married or plan their wedding ceremonies during the Golden Week holidays.

I attended the wedding at “Nashiki Shrine” which is located to the east of “Gosho”, the Old Imperial Palace on May 3rd.
After the ceremony, they held a wedding reception at “Kodaiji Doi (ryoutei restaurant)”.

At the reception, the sister of the groom who now lives in Hawaii delivered the live message to the couple via Skype.

It was such a friendly reception with all the relatives were with smiles on their faces.

Even though I have been working as a wedding planner in Kyoto over 10 years, I find the wedding ceremony is always heartwarming.

I was so happy to be able to support the wedding ceremony and the reception for Y-sama and S-sama and wish them happiness for long years to come.

本日、世界遺産 二条城にて、N様・O様のご結婚式が執り行われました。

二条城でのご結婚式は、宗教にとらわれない、
たいせつな方に見守られながら行う「人前結婚式」。

新郎様・新婦様は日本の伝統衣裳の束帯と十二単でお式をされました。

また、人前式の立会人代表署名には二条城ウエディングをおすすめくださいましたご新郎様のお知り合いにあたる、京都市長の門川大作さんも駆けつけて下さり立会人署名をいただきました。

N-sama and O-sama got married at Nijo Castle which is listed as the world heritage, today.

The wedding ceremony at Nijo Castle was non-religious and performed in front of the important people for the couple.

The bride and groom wore the Japanese traditional costume; “sokutai” and “juni-hitoe” respectively.
And the Mayor of Kyoto city, Mr. Daisaku Kadokawa, made a witness of their marriage and signed the marriage paper.

The “juni-hitoe” was specially prepared with consideration of the safety for the mother-to-be bride, as wearing “juni-hitoe” at the wedding ceremony was her strong desire.

After the ceremony, the couple told us “The wedding ceremony at Nijo Castle was excellent. It was more than we had expected.”

Congratulations!

A wedding ceremony supported by LST Tokyo will appear on the June issue of “FUJINGAHO” in a feature article “Japanese Wedding”.

The bride wore a wedding costume (kimono) which had been painted by her grate-grate-grandfather, Okoku KONOSHIMA, a famous Japanese-style painter.

The wedding costume was worn the last time 67years ago.
It looks so beautiful with the spirit of her grate-grate grand father.

One of the good things about kimono is that it can be passed down from the generation to generation for long years.

先日、3年前に担当させていただきました新郎新婦様が東京店へお越しくださいました。
気さくなお人柄、そして優しい笑顔は何も変わっておらず、お打合せでは美味しいパン屋さん情報等も含め楽しくお話させて頂いた事、桜咲く中での白無垢・紋付袴姿が大変美しかった事等が一気に思い出され、感動してしまいました。
でも、何よりも感動したのは、そんな変わらないお二人の間には待望の赤ちゃんが生まれ、すっかりパパとママになっていらっしゃった事です。

笑顔が本当にかわいらしく、ご近所でも人気者だそうです。
私が抱っこすると、「ママ〜」と言いたげにとっても不安そうな顔。。。
すぐにママのもとへとお渡しとなっちゃいましたが、幸せの重みを感じました。
ご来店後のメールでは「子供の成長にあわせてまたお邪魔します」との嬉しいお言葉をいただき、これからのお子様の成長が楽しみです。
こんな風に、サポートさせていただいたご夫婦の“その後”を垣間見れる瞬間、「このお仕事をさせていただける幸せ」を感じます。

The couple whom I had helped organizing the wedding three years ago visited our Tokyo office the other day.
Their warm and friendly smiles haven’t changed a bit and they instantly brought a lot of good memories back to me; a fun little chat about nice bakeries during the meeting to plan their wedding ceremony, and the beautiful bride and gloom in white kimono in cherry blossom season.

Above all, the most exciting news I found about them was they became Daddy and Mommy.

Their baby looks so cute with a pretty smile and they told us he is very popular in their neighborhood.
When I carried him, he looked very nervous as if he wanted to cry “Mommy!”.
So I had to return him to his mom soon, but I could feel the weight of their happiness.

After the visit, they wrote us an email saying “we’ll visit you again when our son grows bigger.”
I’m really looking forward to see him again.

Each time when I have an opportunity to see the couple’s happy life after the wedding, I realize how lucky I am to be able to work as a wedding planner.

I would like to write about the wedding ceremony I supported the other day.

I was impressed with the couple since they had visited LST Salon for the first time.
They made a nice looking couple.

Both of them were busy with their work every day.
They selected Kamigamo Shrine and Saami (ryoutei restaurant) as the venues for their wedding ceremony and the wedding reception.
They wanted express their gratitude to the guests through the traditional Japanese style wedding ceremony.

It was really nice reception with the excellent ryoutei style service by Saami.
There was also the DVD showing by friends and everyone enjoyed it.
