先日、第4回目の二条城現地相談会を開催させていただきました。
秋にロケーション撮影をご予定の新郎様新婦様と
「ロケ撮影でも人力車に乗りたい！」
「真赤な紅葉を背景にして撮影したい」
と紅葉の情景を思い浮かべながら清流園や香雲亭をご案内させていただきました。
一年を通じて美しい松やカシなどの常緑樹はもちろん
秋のシーズンは紅葉や銀杏も色付きさらに素敵な情景を映し出す二条城。
今後も現地相談会の開催を予定しております。

We held the forth “wedding consultancy meeting in Nijo Castle” the other day.
I attended a couple who are planning on location photography in Autumn.
“We want to have our photo taken riding on ‘Jinriki-sha'”, they said.
“Having the photo taken with the red leaves in the back would be nice.”
We made a tour to “Seiryu-en” and “Koun-tei” imagining the colorful autumn leaves.
In the garden of Nijo Castle, you can see the beautiful evergreens such as pine tree and oak tree throughout the year. And in the Autumn, you can also enjoy the beautiful red and yellow leaves including Japanese maple tree and ginkgo tree.
We will be holding this kind of wedding consultancy meeting at Nijo Castle from now on too.

9月に入り少しずつ秋の訪れを感じる季節となりました。

Since the beginning of September, I started feeling the approach of Autumn gradually.
We served at a wedding ceremony at Shimogamo shrine followed by a wedding reception at “Kodaiji Doi (ryoutei restaurant)” the other day.
The reception proceeded in a very friendly and peaceful atmosphere and both families deepened their bonds each other.
After the wedding, the couple told me “we are very happy that you have served for us.” And they wrote me a heartwarming letter as well.
I was so glad that I could meet them in the first place, and it was really a great pleasure for me to support their precious wedding day.

3月にサポートさせていただきましたお客様より素敵な季節の贈り物が届きました！！
新郎様のご出身地徳島の特産「すだち」です。
たくさん贈っていただき、袋越しからも香るいい匂いに感動してしまいました。
さんまにうどんに…の定番料理の他にも、これだけたくさんあれば色々とすだちレシピのレパートリーが増やせそうです。
今日の朝もしっかり焼き魚のお供として料理を引き立たせてくれました。
そして、何よりもこうしてご結婚式後もLSTの事を思い出し、季節のお品を贈っていただいたおふたりのお心遣いが嬉しかったです。
この贈り物をきっかけにお久しぶりにおふたりとメールをさせていただき、また温かい気持ちをいただきました。
ご新郎様ご新婦様はもちろんご結婚式に関してはお客様とはなりますが、常々のやり取りの中、大事にしなければならないことを教えてくださる人生の先輩でもあります。
この仕事をさせて頂き、そうした素晴らしいご縁が繋がっていく事に感謝しています。

We recieved a fabulous seasonal gift from the client couple we supported in March!!
Citrus fruits called “Sudachi”, the famous products of the groom’s hometown Tokushima prefecture.
There were so many of them, and we could smell fresh citrus note even before taking them out from the package.
It’s good to have it with grilled sanma(saury), udon noodles…besides these typical ways to taste sudashi, we should try new recipes as there are plenty of them.
I enjoyed it with some grilled fish this morning, too.
I was really glad to know that they still remember and care about us even several months after the wedding ceremony. It gave me an opportunity to exchange a few emails with them which made me warm inside.
One of the good things about being a planner is that I can learn a lot of important things in our lives through our client couples.
They are our clients, but also the seniors who have more experience in one’s life.
I really appreciate my job as a planner, because it gives me so many opportunities to meet nice people.

We had a ceremony and a welcome party in our Kyoto office for the prospective employees who will graduate from school next spring.
They all looked a bit nervous as it was the first time for them to meet everyone in the company.
But as the party continued while talking about their hobbies and college lives, they seemed to start feel comfortable and relaxed.
It’s so great to welcome the unique and motivated young members to work with us.
I’m really looking forward to seeing them all again at the formal welcoming ceremony in April.

東京店の展示衣装が新しくなりました。
「こんな時にしか東京にも来れないので…」とわざわざご自身の夏休み中にお衣装をお持ちくださったスタイリストさん。
お話する度、お衣装、そしてそれをお召しになられるご新郎ご新婦様への熱い想いが伝わってきて、勉強になります。
- 正絹ちりめん地に繊細な銀糸の刺繍が施された白無垢。
奥ゆかしさがありながらも存在感のあるお衣装です。
こちらの白無垢はCHODOプラン内でお召しいただけます。
- A “Shiromuku” with fine embroidery motives with silver yarns on the 100% pure silk. It’s modest and graceful, but has a strong appeal.
This “Shiromuku” can be worn with “CHODO” plan.
- 赤地に鶴や菊が豪華にあしらわれた色打掛。
全体にラメも入っており、インパクトのある1着です。
- An “Irouchikake” with gorgeous crane and chrysanthemum motives on red color base. The lame yarns used in the base fabric made the kimono more impressive.
入口のお衣装が変わっただけで、サロンの雰囲気も印象が異なります。
ご結婚式当日のお衣装やヘアスタイルのお色直しは会場に新たな空気を生み出し、当日をより華やかにするおもてなしの１つとなっているのだなと改めて感じました。

The display in Tokyo branch has been renewed.
A stylist dropped by our Tokyo office during her summer holiday,
saying “Usually, I don’t have time to travel to Tokyo…”
Whenever I talked to her, I could feel her passion for the costumes and affection for the brides and grooms who are going to wear them.
I always learn a lot from her attitude.
The new display at the entrance changed a impression of the entire salon.
I realized again that bride and groom’s changing their costume and hairstyle during the wedding reception can surely change the atmosphere of the reception and made it more radiant.

We held the third “Wedding consultancy meeting in Nijo Castle”.
In this event, the participants are specially allowed to enter “Seiryu-en” and “Koun-tei” that are not open to the public and even the couple who get married there will not permitted to step in to the place except on their wedding day.
Even under the strong summer sunlight, the cool wind is occasionally blowing through the “Seiryu-en” and freshen us up.
We would like to thank all the future brides and grooms who participated in this event in the heat.

昨日、上賀茂神社のみなさまとお食事をさせていただきました。
私ごとですが、今年の6月に上賀茂神社で結婚式を挙げさせていただき、
当日には上賀茂神社の神職さん、巫女さん、大勢の方々にご祝福いただきました。
そんな当日のお話をさせていただいたり、
普段の何気ない事柄などについてお話しさせていただき
新しく、異なる視点や考え方に気づかせていただきました。

We had dinner with the people form Kamigamo shrine yesterday.
It’s a personal matter, but I had my own wedding ceremony performed at Kamigamo shrine in June. Many people at Kamigamo shrine including shinto priests, shrine maidens blessed us.
I enjoyed the conversation with the people from Kamigamo shrine. We talked about my wedding and other small things in everyday life.
I could learn different viewpoints and the new way of thinking through the talk.
Kamigamo shrine is very special place with lots of memories for me.
I want to help the couples who are about to start planning their wedding ceremony and would like to make them really memorable ones.
We are going to hold an “inspection visit” to the venue called “Hosodono” on Sunday, August 31st.

Today, we held an event to show the interior and table setting coordination at Saami (ryoutei restaurant).
We hold this kind of event twice every year; in summer and winter.
We had many participants for today’s event; couples who have already booked their wedding reception at Saami in this Autumn or next spring, or others who are beginning to plan their wedding.
We really would like to thank for all those who participated in today’s event in spite of the typhoon weather.

On August 2nd, Mr. and Mrs. U who got married on this day two years ago visited Saami ryoutei restaurant to celebrate their wedding anniversary.

They traveled from Eastern part of Japan during their summer vacation.

Today, a mother of the bride who had got married at
Kamigamo shrine and had a wedding reception at Sakurai (ryoutei restaurant) on March 8th came to our office.
She got a surprise birthday gift from her daughter.
She had an unrealized dream that she wanted to wear “Shiromuku (all white kimono) and Wataboushi (head accessory)” for her wedding, so her daughter presented a photography service in “Shiromuku” to her.
Today, she chose the costume and had her photo taken.
She is cheerful and very attractive.
I was so happy to hear her said “It was really fun today” with a smile on her face before she left.
I hope she will like the photos.
