一文も嬉しかったです。
今でも、ご披露宴がおひらきになった時の新郎新婦様やお父様の労いの言葉や
ご両家お母様の優しい笑顔を昨日のことのように思い出します。

OSEIBO (A YEAR-END GIFT)
We received a year-end gift from the mother of the bride who had got married at Chishaku-in Temple with our service this summer.
In the enclosed letter, we found lots of good remarks on our service.
And we were so glad to hear that the bride’s father was satisfied with our service and said “I’ve never seen such a good wedding ceremony like this.”
We still remember the bride and groom’s happy faces after the wedding, and their parents’ warm words of kindness. Both bride and groom’s mothers were smiling gently.
We appreciate that we were given the opportunity to serve them and also for the heartfelt present for us.

A SNOWY LANDSCAPE OF THE WORLD HERITAGE NIJO CASTLE
Autumn has gone and Winter has arrived.
And we had a rare site of snow for December here in Kyoto.
The scenery around Nijo Castle which is usually full of greens has completely changed and covered with white snow,
and it shone beautifully in the bright sunshine.
We are so happy that we could help organizing so many couples’ weddings at the World Heritage Nijo Castle this year,
and appreciate each opportunity we were given.
There will be the fifth “Wedding Consultancy Meeting” at Nijo Castle on January 12th (Mon.), 2015.
It’s a rare opportunity that you can visit “Seiryu-en” and “Koun-tei” that are not open to the public usually.

11月28日、紅葉で真っ赤に染まる上賀茂神社にてご結婚式のサポートをさせていただきました。
上賀茂神社のご神職でいらっしゃる新郎様と朗らかで優しい新婦様。

WEDDING CEREMONY AT KAMIGAMO SHRINE
On November 28th, I served at a wedding ceremony at Kamigamo shrine which was at its best with Autumn leaves.
The groom was a Shinto priest of Kamigamo shrine.
The bride is a cheerful and kind lady.
Their reception was held at “Kinobu (ryoutei restaurant)”, attended by the chief priest of Kamigamo shrine and his wife as their baishakunin (=matchmaker).
Many relatives, friends, colleagues and superiors of Kamigamo shrine were invited to the reception.
It was a gorgeous and yet friendly reception which reflected the bride and groom’s personality.
When I visited Kamigamo shrine yesterday, the groom told me that the bride is watching the film of the wedding every day and many guests told him that it was such a memorable event for them.
We really appreciate that they gave us such a wonderful opportunity to support their precious wedding.

A DINNER WITH THE PEOPLE FROM SAKURAI
We had a dinner with the people form “Sakurai (ryoutei restaurant)” the other day.
It was a precious opportunity that we could look back and talk about our client couples who held wedding receptions at Sakurai this year.
The owner said “We would like to do what others cannot, something special that only Sakurai can do. I always keep it in my mind.”
I am going to hold my own wedding reception at Sakurai.
Having listened his words, I thought of smiling faces of my family and friends who would be at the reception.

ON LOCATION PHOTOGRAPHY AT NIJO CASTLE
I attended an on-location photography at Nijo Castle the other day.
After sending some photo data to the clients so that they can use them for the new year’s greeting cards, they wrote me back a very kind message.
“We thank you so much for your kind support the other day. The photography was done in the way exactly what we wanted. We really enjoyed it.”
I’m sure these pictures can make a great Nenga-jo (New year greeting cards) which makes the ones who receive them smile.
It was my great pleasure helping the family to create one page of their family album.

先週の11月22日（土曜日）にM様ご夫妻様がLST京都サロンへお子様とご一緒にお越し下さいました。
2010年の11月22日に「上賀茂神社」さんにて挙式、その後「京料理 さくらい」さんにてサポートさせていただいてから毎年11月22日には上賀茂神社さんへの参拝と合わせてLST京都サロンへお越し下さいます。
今年で4年目でございます。
3周年目にお越し下さいました際は新婦様のお腹の中に２つの命を授かったと伺っておりましたので、今年お子様とご一緒にお会いできますのがとても楽しみでございました。
- お名前は健伍君と隼緒君です。
- The boys were named Kengo-kun and Hayao-kun.
健伍君には『健康に育ってほしい』という願いを込めて
隼緒君には『健吾君と一緒に成長してほしい』という願いを込めて
名づけられたお名前はとても素敵で親御様の愛情を感じました。
来年お会いできます際には健伍君も隼緒君もきっと歩いておられることと存じます。また来年も楽しみにお待ちしております。

THE FOURTH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Mrs. M visited LST Kyoto salon last Saturday with their two boys.
They got married at Kamigamo shrine on November 22nd in 2010 and keep coming back to visit the shrine and LST Kyoto salon on their wedding anniversary since then.
This was their fourth visit.
As Mrs. M were pregnant with twins when I saw them last year, I’ve been looking forward to see them with babies.
They named “Kengo” in the hope he will grow up in good health and named “Hayao” in the hope he will also grow up together with Kengo.
Both names are nice and reflecting their parents’ love.
Kengo-kun and Hayao-kun must be walking when we’ll see them next year.
We’ll be looking forward to your visit again, Mr. and Mrs. M.

In Marunouchi district where LST Tokyo is located, the Illumination tree lights along the street has started.
I heard that they chose “Champagne gold” color for the lighting, so that it fits the city’s matured atmosphere.
It makes me feel so romantic when I see the couples who visit our office to prepare their wedding off to the street with beautiful lights.
You can enjoy the illumination until February 15th next year, so please come and visit us while it’s on!

I recently supported a wedding at Kamigamo shrine and then a reception at “Sakurai (ryoutei restaurant)”.
The groom was an older brother of the bride who had her wedding with our service three years ago.
He was so impressed with his sister’s wedding at Kamigamo shrine and then decided to have his own there too.
During the reception, he organized the back ground music by himself, and it became such a cozy and friendly party.
The bride and groom brought their parents’ wedding photos and showed them to the guests and everyone enjoyed.
We are really grateful for being given such a precious opportunity to serve both for a brother and a sister.
Now his sister is in the ninth months of pregnancy.
We wish the family a lot of happiness and prosperity, and pray for the safe birth of his sister’s child.

Mr. and Mrs. Aoki who had got married two years ago with our service visited our office with their child born last year.
They had a wedding ceremony at Heian Jingu shrine and a wedding reception at Awata-sanso.
We talked about their wedding and they told me that they were very happy that they ordered the album of the wedding.
We could actually meet each other just once before their wedding as they were living distant city.
But we could email and talked over the phone many times to plan their wedding and an on-site location photography,
and I still remember some of our conversation as a precious memory.
Mr. and Mrs. Aoki, thanks for sharing your precious time with us while you were traveling to Kyoto.

We had dinner with other LST staff at “Sakurai (ryoutei restaurant)” the other day.
We have seen “Mushiri-dai” many times as it is one of the dishes served at the wedding reception at Sakurai.
They explained that tai(=sea bream) represented the happiness and this dish was served to share the happiness with everyone.
We all enjoyed the taste of Autumn food such as Matsutake Mushroom, Saury and Ginkgo Nuts which were not only delicious but beautiful to the eyes.
We really had a good time.
