本年もたくさんのお客様より年賀状をいただきました。
年賀状には『ご出産』のご報告や『当日のことを思い出してもとても幸せな日でした』等素敵なお言葉がたくさん書いてあり
拝見させていただきながら私も幸せなお気持ちをいただきました。
その中で昨年11月1日に「下鴨神社」さんにて挙式後、「京料理さくらい」さんにてご披露宴のサポートをさせて頂きましたアメリカご在住のお客様より頂いた年賀状をご紹介させていただきます。
メッセージを拝見しながら私も、ご結婚式当日のことを思い出しました。
朝のお支度中には雨が降っており、皆様に「雨でごめんね。」とお話しされておられた新婦様のお母様の姿を今でも覚えております。
お支度がすすむにつれ、雨が落ちつきはじめ
新郎新婦様とお母様の想いが届いたことを感じました。
お食事会でのテーブルインタビューではご親族様より温かいお言葉をたくさんいただかれ、とても和やかでアットホームでございましたね。
これからはアメリカでのご生活でございますね。
きっと新郎新婦様ですと幸せなご家庭を築かれることと存じます。

NENGA-JO (=NEW YEAR’S GREETING CARDS)
We have received many “nenga-jo” from our clients this year as always.
We found many happy news such as “We got a baby.” or comments like “It was the happiest day in my life.”
And they made me very happy.
Today, I would like to introduce this greeting card which was from one of the client couples living in the USA who had got married on November 1st last year. They had the wedding ceremony at Shimogamo shrine and the reception at “Sakurai (ryoutei restaurant)” with our service.
Having read the message, I recalled the day of their wedding.
It was raining in the morning and the bride’s mother expressed her gratitude to each guest for coming over in the rain .
But as the time of the ceremony came close, the rain got lighter and lighter.
And I thought the wish of the couple and the mother should have reached to god.
At the reception, guests gave the warm and kind message to the couple in the friendly and cozy atmosphere.
I’m sure that they will build a happy family in the USA.
I will keep the card as a memory.

あけましておめでとうございます。
本日より、LST東京店も営業をスタートいたしました。
年始は京都へ行かせていただき、京都店スタッフとともに上賀茂神社にてご祈祷を受けてまいりました。
北へ上がるほどに、年末年始に降った雪が白く残っており、東京に比べ寒さも感じましたが、空気も澄んで清々しく、美しい日本の四季にありがたい気持ちが湧いてまいりました。
冬の京都も風情があり、また魅力的です。
鴨川沿いは花も葉もない桜の木が並んでおり、これが春になれば満開の桜でそれは美しいのだなあ・・・と、、、だいぶ気が早過ぎますが、本当は冬が苦手な私は、春の京都の風景を想像してはウキウキと待ち遠しい気持ちになりました。
今年も東京から、京都でのご結婚式、世界遺産でのご結婚式という素晴らしい時間を、たくさんの新郎新婦様へご案内していきたいと思っております。

TOKYO OFFICE STARTED TODAY
Happy New Year.
In Tokyo, we started business for 2015 today.
We have been to Kyoto to pay a new year’s visit to Kamigamo shrine together with all the staff in Kyoto office.
In the northern part of Kyoto, we saw lots of snow remained from the year end and new year’s snow fall.
It was much colder than in Tokyo, but I liked the air which was clean and refreshing.
I really appreciate that we have beautiful four seasons in Japan.
And Kyoto in Winter is really charming and attractive.
Along the Kamo River, there was a row of cherry trees without leaves or flowers. I know it’s a bit too early to talk about the cherry blossoms, but imagining all the cherry trees in full bloom in Spring made me so excited as I do not like cold Winter so much.
We would like to introduce various wedding plans in Kyoto including “the wedding at the World Heritage” to many couples here in Tokyo.
We are really looking forward to serving you.

KYOTO NURE-GAKI YUZEN
(HAND PAINTED SILK ON THE MOIST CLOTH)
Mr.Araya is a creator of Kyoto “Nure-gaki Yuzen” and he got married four years ago using our service.
Recently, he produced silk scarves for LST. They are for “Hikidemono”, the gifts from the married couple to their guests.
Each piece painted in nure-gaki style with very soft colors reflects his skill as artisan.
You could order to put the name on it.
It makes a special gift that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Today, all the LST staff in Kyoto and Tokyo office together made a new year’s visit to Kamigamo shrine for the prayers.
We found lots of snow in the garden which remained from the year-end and new year’s snow fall.
It gave each of us a good opportunity to look back and turn over a new leaf for the new year.
At Kamigamo shrine, they will have “Shikinen Sengu” this year.
While we talked about it with them, we could feel their great enthusiasm for the “Shikinen Sengu” even in their calm manner.
We appreciate for all the “Go-en (fate)” given to us until now, and we will always make our best for the new encounters and events in the future.
We look forward to providing the best service possible for our current and future customers.

2014 “WITH GRATITUDE”
There are just three days until the end of the year.
As we look back this year, we fondly recall thousands of smiling faces, happy tears of the couples and guests.
We would like to express our most sincere gratitude for the opportunities that we were able to serve our client couples’ wedding, one of the most important event in their lives.
In 2014, we newly opened “LST OATSURAE SALON” which enabled us to propose a large selection of the wedding costumes (kimonos) to our clients.
In January 2015, we are going to open our new shop in Teramachi Kyoto where you can find our original designed furniture and interior items. We’re so excited about it!
With all the staff, LST will keep trying our best to become one of the leading planning companies in the nation while being based in Kyoto.

A LETTER FROM THE PARENTS OF THE GROOM
We received a letter from the parents of the groom who had got married with our service the other day.
He is Shinto priest of Kamigamo shrine, and we introduced their wedding on this blog earlier.
The letter was filled with heartwarming words.
Thank you for your kind service at our son’s wedding.
As the parents of the groom, we feel relieved and relax now. We believe that the wedding ceremony is the most important event in one’s life.
Your diligent attitude towards the work impressed us very much.

They warmly kept watching over their son and his bride since the couple started prepare the wedding ceremony until the day of their wedding.
We could feel the tender love for their son from the letter and it also gave us a happy feeling.

REUNION
A lady who had got married at Kamigamo shrine and held a wedding reception at “Sakurai (ryoutei restaurant)” on May 3rd visited our office.
She made me surprised with a happy news. She’s pregnant!
“When I stepped my foot into this salon again, all the happy memories of preparing my wedding came back to my mind” she said.
She told me that she would be a mother of a daughter next month.
She was a breathtakingly beautiful bride in May and will be mom next month!
I’m glad that I’ve been able to be with her on the important occasions of life; getting married, building up a happy family…
I’m looking forward to her next visit with her husband and a baby.

吉田神社・料亭左阿彌にてご結婚式・ご披露宴をされましたN様・H様
新郎様が「花結師TAKAYA」さんと古くからお知り合いとのことで、新婦様の花結いをご担当いただきました。
特にご希望はお伝えせず、TAKAYAさんにすべてお任せになったそうですが、新婦様のお顔立ち・雰囲気・お衣装にもとっても良くお似合いです。
- 新婦様の姿が見えると、ゲスト様からも「ワーッ！」と歓声があがりました。
清楚な印象と華やかさを兼ね備えたカサブランカ。
- When she made her appearance with a gorgeous head-dress with pure white Casablanca, everyone oohed.
- 新婦様のお顔も小さいのですが、お花もとっても大きかったです！

- Large Dahlias in passionate red made a nice contrast with the bride’s pretty small face.
実は、結婚式に対してあまりやる気のなかったお二人。
しかし、結婚式でしかできない素敵な経験をされ、当日はとってもお幸せそうでした。

HANAYUI
N-sama and S-sama got married at Yoshida shrine and held their wedding reception at Saami ryoutei restaurant. As the groom was acquainted with Takaya, Hanayuishi (a flower-hair-dressing artist), they asked him to arrange the bride’s hair.
Although they left all the details to Takaya and didn’t make particular request, the finished hair arrange suited perfectly with the bride’s image and her wedding costume．
Actually, the couple had not been particularly enthusiastic about preparing their wedding ceremony.
But having made various special experience, they looked so happy on the day of their wedding.

先日、雲一つないほど清々しい日に「上賀茂神社」さんにて挙式後「料亭左阿彌」さんでのご結婚式のサポートをさせていただきました。
新郎新婦様はドイツに在住されてるファゴット奏者でおられます。
ご披露宴では音楽関係のご友人様方がたくさんお越し下さり、
新郎新婦様のために書き下ろされた世界でたった一つの楽譜をピアノで演奏下さったり、クラリネットのご演奏など優美な時間でございました。
そして、おひらき前に新郎新婦様から皆様へ・・・
ご夫婦で奏でる優しいハーモニーに会場内が静まり聴き入りました。
私自身、ファゴットを初めて拝見させていただき音色を聴きましたがとても綺麗でお打合せでは見たことのない新郎新婦様の表情でございました。
お聴きしながら新郎新婦様が所属されてるオーケストラにて演奏されてる光景が目に浮かびました。
ドイツからご結婚式当日に向けてご準備下さいまして誠にありがとうございました。

“OMOTENASHI” WITH MUSIC
There was a wedding ceremony at Kamigamo shrine under the cloudless blue sky, and afterwards a wedding reception at Saami ryoutei restaurant.
The bride and groom were fagotto (bassoon) players living in Germany, and among their guests were many musician friends. They played an original piano composition or others played clarinet for the newly wed couple which made the reception so special.
Before the end of the reception, the bride and groom together played fagotto for the guests…
Everyone listened intently the soft and gentle tune.
Actually, it was the first time for me to listen the tune of the fagotto. It was a beautiful sound.
The bride and groom looked differently from when I met them to prepare the wedding.
While listening the music, I imagined the couple playing the fagotto in the orchestra in Germany.
I appreciate their cooperation from Germany to prepare the wedding with us.
We wish for many years of happiness for them!!
