PHOTOGRAPHY AT KIBUNESOU RESTAURANT
There was photographing of the table settings for the wedding reception at “KIBUNESOU” restaurant.
They are located just by the river and they have many guests who come to enjoy “kawadoko” during the summer season.
I was really surprised to know that the summer temperature here is cooler by 10℃ compare to the center of the Kyoto city.
It could give a solution to the summer heat problem for the couples who are getting married in Summer.
From the window, you can see the red garden-lanterns of Kibune Shrine which produce the special atmosphere of Kibune.
I could feel rich nature and was really refreshed.

WEDDING FAIR AT THE TRADITIONAL JAPANESE RESTAURANT (RYOUTEI)
I traveled to Kyoto to attend a wedding consultancy fair held at “Saami (ryoutei restaurant)” on February 15th.
For 12 years, we have been proposed LST’s original wedding reception plan with traditional Japanese taste at Saami twice a year (Summer and Winer).
Saami is a really great place where you can have superb dishes with the excellent service by the madam and all the other staff.
All the guests enjoyed the performance and the service by Maiko and Geiko and took pictures with them while they were eating the traditional Kyoto cuisine.
The souvenir gifts were “red and white manjuu (Japanese sweets)” of “Tsuruya Yoshinobu” and “imabari towel” from LST BOTAN.
We appreciate that so many guests participated in the event that “Seifu-den” room was nearly full.
And we would like to thank for all who helped us organizing the fair.

A SEASONAL LETTER
Choose a writing pad for a letter to make someone smile or deliver the feeling of the season.
It reflects your fondness for the one who will receive the letter.
For this season of the year, I chose the letter pad with plum blossoms design to write a reply to the client couple who had got married with our service three years ago.
Plum is believed to be a lucky plant, as its flowers exist in red and white, the colors which are always used for the auspicious occasion.
We will have the best season of the plum blossoms soon.
I hope my letter can deliver the beautiful plum blossoms image to my clients.

3週間後にご結婚式のお客様と最終のお打合せ。
「これまでありがとうございました」
と、新郎様が大好きだというチョコテリーヌと新婦様からお手紙をいただきました。
東京店のお客様は、お打合せを担当させて頂いても当日は立会えないことがほとんど。
京都では信頼できるスタッフがスタンバイしているとはいえ、やはり少し心配だったり、当日の晴れ姿が拝見できないと思うととっても寂しく。
しかし「いってらっしゃい！」という晴れやかに送り出すような気持ちもあり、いずれにしても「はあー・・・・・・」と、お打合せの後は、しばし放心してしまいます。
そんな気持ちの時にいただいた贈り物。
お帰りの間際には新婦様がハグしてくださり、涙が出てしまいそうでした。
頑張ってたくさんのご準備をしてくださったお二人。
きっと素敵な一日になります！

A LETTER AND CHOCOLATE
After the final meeting with a couple who will get married in three weeks, I got presents from them; a box of chocolate “terrine” from the groom and a letter from the bride.
LST staff in Tokyo like me usually cannot attend the clients’ wedding in Kyoto, even we meet the clients many times for the preparation.
Although we are sure that there are many reliable colleague staff in Kyoto, we cannot help worrying if everything is going all right, and feeling loneliness as we cannot be there to see the beautiful couple on the day.
Sending off the couple with “Have a nice trip to Kyoto!” always makes us heave a sigh and absentminded for a while.
I got these presents in a situation like that.
The bride gave a warm hug before she left and I almost cried.
They have worked a lot for the wedding.
I’m sure that it will be a wonderful day!
I hope they will enjoy it to the full extent!

WEDDING CONSULTANCY MEETING IN KAMIGAMO SHRINE
Last weekend, we held a wedding consultancy meeting at Kamigamo shrine clothed in snow.
They will have a “Shikinen Sengu” this year, and also they will let us use “Honden” for the wedding ceremony during a particular period in Autumn.
So this time, they showed us “Hosodono” and the inside of “Honden”.
The pure and cold air straightened up our body and mind.
We would like to thank for those who participated in the event in such a cold weather.

先日上賀茂神社さんでの挙式後、京料理さくらいさんでのご披露宴のサポートをさせて頂きました。
新郎新婦様は山口育ちの山口在住のお二人、挙式当日は
「白無垢を着たい」という新婦様の夢と、

A WEDDING CEREMONY
We arranged the wedding ceremony for one of our client couples at Kamigamo shrine and the wedding reception at “Sakurai (ryoutei restaurant)” the other day.
The bride and groom are living in Yamaguchi prefecture and both were born there.
Their family members and friends were traveling from Yamaguchi, Nagoya and Tokyo to Kyoto to attend their wedding and watch the couple realizing their dreams.
The bride’s dream was “wearing Shiromuku (traditional all-white wedding costume)” and the groom’s dream was “having wedding ceremony at the world heritage in Kyoto”.
The couple started their opening speech of the reception with “Thanks for your collaboration to materialize our personal desire”.
The reception was liven up by the Geiko and Maiko’s dance or a traditional “hashitori-no gi” (=the bride and groom served Japanese traditional sweets to the guests), both are in real Kyoto style.
All the guests enjoyed the reception in their own way and the place was really in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
I was so happy that I could serve them and spend the day with them.
The couple looked like the one which came out of a fairy tale.
I wish they will spend a lot of happy time together always with smile that they love each other.

After nearly one year of preparation, LST BOTAN opened in Teramachi, Kyoto on January 21, 2015.
The shop theme is “KURASHI(=living)”.
Various furniture, interior and gift items are specially selected and proposed by LST.
One customer who visited the shop on the opening day was a Taiwanese creator and he said,
“We cannot find such an attractive shop in Taiwan.”
He was impressed with the Japanese craftsmanship and the accurate works, and bought one to make it as a special gift.
We all deeply appreciate that so many clients, including the priests of shinto shrine visited the shop.

A WEDDING CEREMONY
I served at the wedding ceremony performed at the chapel of Doshisha University, then at the reception held at Saami ryoutei restaurant.
The day was blessed with a perfect weather with a cloudless sky.
The bride and groom made the original 20pages of booklet with their personal profile to introduce themselves to the guests. They also prepared handmade mascots to be placed by the name plates to indicate the seating order, and carefully chose the music.
Those efforts made the atmosphere of the reception very friendly and everybody had a good time.
And they wrote us an email after the wedding.
It was the great wedding.
We were so happy and completely satisfied as all the guests enjoyed the day.
For marrying couples, the wedding is a dream day and also the start of the future for two.
We hope that you will keep providing the great service to your future client couples as well.

- The festive decoration for the new year greeted the visitors in front of the gate.

It said “Excellent luck”, same as last year.
I felt assured that my whole year should be promising. (I got laughed as I took it so serious. )
As for the “En (=relation)”, it said “there will be a good encounter”.
I keep the “Omikuji” in my purse expecting it will give me wonderful encounters with many couples.
