NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION
Every year, I look forward to “nenga-jo (=new year’s greeting cards)” from our clients.
And the pleasure of having them grows stronger as the years go by.
“We are displaying lots of our wedding photos and still enjoying a feeling like a newly married couple.”
“Although we are arguing almost every day, we never forget our special day!”
“We have a new member in our family, and are struggling to be a good mom and dad.”
“Our second child was born in November. We’ll come to see you soon.”
It’s great that so many client couples are in contact with us even after their weddings.
Mr.and Mrs. Sakai who had got married with our service last year also visited us lately.
“I wish if I could have a wedding ceremony every year” said Mrs. Sakai in a bright smiling face like she had on her wedding day.

本日、LST京都店・東京店、家具店BOTANのスタッフで
上賀茂神社さんに参りました。
昨年、21年に1度の式年遷宮を無事に終えられ、神聖な空気が満ち溢れる中、
特別に本殿の正面前にて御祈祷をお受けすることが出来ました。

- At “Hosodono”, a new sign of “Eto” (Chinese zodiac) is displayed.
- 清らかな水が流れる明神川
- The clear stream of Myojingawa.
- 美しく整えられた「二の鳥居」
- Beautifully arranged “Ni-no Torii (The Second Gate)”.
このような由緒ある場所でご結婚式のプランニングをはじめ、
広報の業務をさせていただいている事に
あらためて感謝の気持ちが湧きました。
また、神社の方に『皆さんの明るい笑顔で今年もがんばってください』と
あたたかいお声をかけていただき、身が引き締まる思いでした。

NEW YEAR’S PRAYER
Today, the staff of LST Kyoto, LST Tokyo and Furniture shop “LST BOTAN” altogether visited Kamigamo shrine.
After completed a big event of every 21years “Shikinen-Sengu” last year, the premises was filled with a holy atmosphere.
We were specially allowed to attend the prayer right in the center of the main sanctuary.
We once again recognized the fact that we are planning the wedding ceremonies to be performed at such a historical place and working as a publicist for the shrine.
“Please do your best with your nice smiles this year too”; the warm words of people from Kamigamo shrine encouraged and motivated us a lot.
At the beginning of the year, we would like to refresh ourselves and make a good start to work.
We appreciate your continued support for this year.

Happy New Year!
LST Wedding reopened its Kyoto salon after New Year’s holiday today.
We would like to thank for all the guests who visited us for the meeting and fitting of the costume.
And we appreciate for many inquiries from overseas.
It was also great to see some clients again who had got married with our service last year.
Each of LST staff will try our best to make the clients’ wedding absolutely wonderful.

GRATITUDE
There are a few more days left till the end of this year.
All of LST staff would like to express our gratitude for that we were given so many opportunities to support our clients’ wedding in 2015 again.
In September, we tried our new challenge and were able to hold “LST OATSURAE-TEN” in Paris successfully.
We could introduce Japanese wedding ceremony along with the wedding costume to foreign people.
And it became a good opportunity that reminded us of the wonderfulness of the wedding.
We would like to try our best next year as well, by improving our planning skill so that we can make our client couples and their wedding guests happy.
LST Wedding will open from January 3rd in 2016.

打掛をお召しいただき、お鬘と洋髪スタイルをご体験いただける
毎回好評の体験会です！

体験会には新郎様、新婦様と新婦様お母様でご来店くださいました。
- 白無垢にお鬘と角隠し
打掛の赤い胴裏に合わせ、赤ライン入りの角隠しです
- The bride-to-be wearing a “Shiromuku (=White Wedding Gown)” and a wig with “Tsunokakushi (=Head Dress)”.
This “Tsunokakushi” is with a red line in white background which is coordinated with the color of the lining of “Uchikake (=Wedding Gown)”.
- 古典柄の色打掛にお鬘と角隠し
- “Iro-Uchikake” with classical pattern and a wig with “Tsunokakushi”.
- モダンなピンクの色打掛に編み込みの洋髪スタイル

FITTING EVENT FOR KIMONOS AND WIGS, AND WESTERN HAIR STYLE
Today at LST Wedding Kyoto, “Fitting event for kimonos with wigs and western hair styles” was held.
It is one of our popular events at which you can try “Uchikake (Japanese Wedding Gown)” with wigs and also western hair style.
The lady of the photo is going to get married next July.
She came to the event with her future husband and her mother.
The bride’s mother and the groom are both very good at taking photos.
It was like a special photo session held for the bride!
Her standing posture in kimono was so beautiful and she also looked great wearing the wig.
We are looking forward to see her on their real wedding day.
There will be another fitting event on Sunday, 24th January 2016!

昨年の12月に挙式をなされたS様ご夫妻がLSTサロンに遊びに来てくださいました。
挙式当日はまだお腹の中にいた千尋ちゃんも、はや8ヶ月が経つそうで、

FIRST WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Ms. S who had got married with our service last December visited us at LST salon.
Chihiro-chan, who was in her mom’s tummy at the wedding is now eight months old already.
Her cute round face made us happy.
We were happy to hear that they are still talking a lot about the good thing about their wedding
and their grandfather told them that their wedding ceremony was the best ever.
And it was a delightful surprise that they remembered so much details about the day; from the movie played during the reception, a hair stylist to the MC.

上賀茂神社・社家町に佇む、「京料理さくらい」さん。
挙式後、境内から徒歩で移動できる立地、
風情溢れる館内、美味しいお料理と、女将さんたちの優しいお人柄が
印象に残る料亭さんです。

上賀茂神社に「神山湧水（こうやまゆいすい）」を
汲みに行かれるとお伺いいたしました。

WITH THE PEOPLE FROM “SAKURAI (RYOUTEI RESTAURANT)”
We had a good time with the people from “Sakurai” at “RYORIYA Stephan Pantel” today.
“Sakurai (ryoutei restaurant)” is located at Shake-machi of Kamigamo Shrine.
You can walk to “Sakurai” within several minutes after holding wedding ceremony at Kamigamo Shrine.
It’s a ryoutei restaurant which serves superb meals in refined atmosphere and one should be impressed with the gentle character of Okami-san (the madam) and the staff.
We heard that they go to Kamigamo Shrine to get “Kouyama-Yusui (natural water)” for the cooking of the meals for the wedding reception each time.
It represents their hospitality and we can tell that they want to make their guests as happy as possible.
Thanks for the wonderful time.
We look forward to working with “Sakurai” from now on too.

INSPECTION VISIT AND CONSULTATION MEETING FOR THE WEDDING AT DOSHISHA UNIVERSITY
Today, we held an “Inspection visit and consultation meeting” for the wedding at Clarke Chapel in Doshisha University.
All the LST staff would like to thank for the guests who came to visit the event.
The chapel must be full of memories of the school-days.
A wedding ceremony taken place in the solemn atmosphere surrounded by music from the pipe organ will certainly be unforgettable experience for the bride and groom, the families and the guests.

12月1日、京都老舗和菓子の「鼓月」さんが
洋菓子店「KINEEL（キール）」を寺町二条にOPENされました。
和菓子で培った技術を洋菓子に取り込み、
シンプルで美味しいお菓子をご提案されています。
- 一口サイズの「姫ケーキ」。
たくさんの種類を食べたい女子心をよく掴まれています！
- “Hime Cake (=princess cake)”, a small, bite sized cakes.
They know the girls’ mind very well that they want to taste as many kinds as possible.
- いただいた、フィナンシェ、小豆が入っていて
とっても美味しかったです！
- “Financier” with red beans were really good!
- LSTで人気の引菓子、鼓月さんの「千寿せんべい」
- “Senju Senbei” by Kogetsu, a popular “hikigashi (souvenir sweets for the wedding guests)” among LST clients.
京都でお気に入りのお店がまた一つ増えました。

NEW CAKE SHOP “KINEEL” BY KOGETSU
“Kogetsu”, a long established Japanese confectionary opened a new western cake shop “Kineel” in Teramachi Nijo on December 1st.
They adopted the skills developed in the traditional Japanese confectionery to the western cakes and created simple yet tasty cakes.
I found another favorite shop in Kyoto.

嬉しそうに新婦様を撮影される姿が印象的でした。
レンズ越しに見るお孫さんの花嫁姿、おじいちゃんの目にはどのように写っていたのでしょうか。
- The grandfather’s hobby is photography and his joyful look of taking photos of his granddaughter was impressive.
I’m wondering how the bride was seen through the camera by her grandfather.

PRE-WEDDING PHOTO SHOOT
We arranged pre-wedding photo shoot for the couple who are going to get married this month.
After the photo shoot, they sent us an email which said,
“We were blessed with good weather and it became such a wonderful day!
We are so happy that we could have great memories with our family.”
