This year has only several days left.
All the LST staff would like to thank for the “GOEN (encounters)” with many brides and grooms in 2016.

In April, we opened “LST maman” to make it easy for the pregnant brides to prepare their wedding easily.

We will try our best to improve our service next year to plan the special wedding for the couples and guests, hoping the memory of the day will remain in their heart for long.

Our office will open from January 4th, 2017 after the new year holiday.

  可憐でいて、しっとりと上品なお着物です。
• Iro-uchikake “Akaji-keicho-gosho-guruma”
  This uchikake is designed by Yumi KATSURA. In addition to the auspicious motives such as “matsu (=pine tree)” and “tsuru (crane)”, other motives like “yukiwa (=snow crystal) and “gosho-guruma (ox-cart)” are placed with good balance.
  It’s a pretty and elegant kimono.

DINING WITH SAKURAI PEOPLE

We had an opportunity to have a meal at “Ryoriya Stephan Pantel” with the people from “Kyo-ryouri Sakurai (ryoutei restaurant)” where our clients often hold their wedding ceremony.

“Kyo-ryouri Sakurai” is a traditional Japanese ryoutei restaurant located in Shake-machi of Kamigamo shrine.

They use “Kouyama-Yusui (spring water)” from Kamigamo shrine for the meals served at the wedding reception by getting special permission from the shrine. It reflects their service attitude which respects a “GOEN (=tie)” with their guests and tries their best for their wedding with great hospitality.

We have learned a lot about “hospitality and warm consideration for the guests” from Sakurai people.
It was really wonderful time which we appreciate a lot.
We would love to continue working with them for long time.

A WEDDING AT KIYOMIZU-DERA TEMPLE

We provided our service for a wedding ceremony at Kiyomizu-Dera Temple on December 4th. It was conducted at Nainaijin in the Hondo (main hall) in Buddhist style. We found it a solemn yet warm, a great wedding ceremony.

Kazuma-sama and Mika-sama, thank you for traveling all the way to Kyoto for the fitting of the costume.

It was our great pleasure to serve such a wonderful couple like you. I am very grateful that I could meet you through your wedding.

WEDDING COSTUME PLAN ‘TAN’

We started offering a new wedding costume plan “TAN” from December 1st. We prepared it with great devotion but provide reasonable price.

The letter “丹 (tan)” has a meaning of “sincerity” and the fabric was woven in “Tan-go” region in Japan. With this special plan, you can choose your favorite “Shiromuku (=all white wedding kimono)” among eight different designs.

Since its founding, LST has been providing various plans and original products to our clients with the hopes that more and more couples will choose to have their wedding ceremony at shrines and temples.

WEDDING AT KIYOMIZU-DERA

Today, I visited Kiyomizu-dera with a photographer to prepare the wedding ceremony scheduled in December.

The view from Kiyomizu Stage was breathtakingly beautiful and I felt like being purified.
The couple who is getting married resides in Tokyo and they traveled all the way to Kyoto to have a meeting and costume fitting.

I can’t wait to see them as a bride and groom !

奉納された、宮本亜門さん演出の
「降臨 -KOURIN-」に感激し、
制作に至りました.

画像ではわかりづらいと思いますが、神話で語り継がれている、「矢」をはじめ、神山、本殿、
境内を流れる清らかな神山湧水、
咲き誇る桜が描かれています.

賀茂別雷大神さまが、
まさしく、雲の上から神社を
眺めているようなデザインです.

神社さまに図案をご提案させて頂き、作家さんと何度もお打合わせを重ね、織上がった白無垢です.

上賀茂神社さんでのご結婚式が
より素晴らしいお式に
なりますように、、、と

LST – KAMIGAO SHRINE ORIGINAL WEDDING KIMONO

We would like to introduce LST original wedding kimono to the couples who will get married at Kamigamo shrine.

We made this “shiromuku (=all white kimono)” inspired by the play “KOURIN (=advent)” produced by Amon MIYAMOTO, which was dedicated to Kamigamo shrine at its “Shikinen-Sengu” ceremony last year.

You may not recognize the patterns clearly on the photo, but there are many motives like “an arrow” “Kouyama (mountain)” “Honden (main building of the shrine)” “a pure stream of Kouyama-Yusui (spring water)” “cherry blossoms in full bloom” were described. Those were taken from the mythology of the shrine.

Kamowake-ikazuchino-mikoto (a deity of Kamigamo shrine) would have a view like this design from above the cloud in the sky.

This “shiromuku” was produced after elaborated work; we proposed its design to Kamigamo shrine first, and then had repeated discussion with the designer.

Now we would like to recommend this “shiromuku” to the marrying couples, wishing that the wedding ceremony at Kamigamo shrine will be great one.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Kamigamo shrine and all the costume staff involved with this project.

左阿彌さんにて「七五三」の記念撮影をさせていただきました。
蒸し暑さが残る中、着物での撮影を笑顔で
頑張ってくださいました。

SHICHI-GO-SAN (7-5-3) CELEBRATION AT SAAMI RYOUTEI RESTAURANT

We conducted a photography of “Shichi-Go-San celebration” at Saami Ryoutei restaurant.
The children did well with nice smiles on their faces in spite of the humid summer-like weather condition.

After the photography, they visited Yasaka Shrine to worship and then had lunch at Saami Ryoutei Restaurant.

For the parents, it must be so much fun to watch their children are growing!

WEDDING ANNIVERSARY AT SAAMI RYOUTEI RESTAURANT

A couple who had got married in 2012 revisited Saami ryoutei restaurant to celebrate their anniversary.

They told us that they came back to visit Kamigamo shrine and Saami ryoutei restaurant to commemorate their wedding anniversary and go back to the starting point of their marriage.

They are such wonderful husband and wife who travel all the way from Tokyo every year.

We are really looking forward to seeing them again next year too!
