上賀茂神社で結婚式＆高台寺土井さんでご披露宴のサポートをさせて頂きました。
当日は初夏を感じる程お天気がよい一日でした。
I went to support the wedding ceremony at Kamigamo shrine & the reception at Kodaiji DOI.
The wedding day was a fine day that you could feel the early summer.

当日までの準備期間中に、新郎様の海外勤務が決まられて、新婦様はお仕事の引き継ぎ、お引越しの準備、結婚式のご準備等、本当に大変でしたね。そんな中結婚式の前日までプロフィールビデオ作成、席札へのﾒｯｾｰｼﾞのご記入をされてゲストをおもてなしする心が私にも伝わってきました。

During the preparation of the wedding, the groom was given an overseas assignment, so they have to do many other preparation other than the wedding, the bride’s handover of her job, the preparation of the move…I know it was a hard task.
But even they had been very busy, they made the profile video and wrote message in table cars for all guests untill the day before the wedding day that their hospitality to the guests communicates itself to me.

神社から花嫁専用車で高台寺土井に到着された際の新婦様の白無垢姿、新郎様の紋付姿、本当にお似合いでとっても綺麗でした。ご披露宴入場前に新郎新婦様が手をつながれ「がんばろうね」と言い合っておられるお姿を近くで見て、夫婦の絆を感じて私も胸が熱くなりました。

They were so beautiful, that the bride wearing Shiromuku and the groom wearing Montsuki-Hakama, when I saw them get off from the bride’s car drove from the shrine to Kodaiji DOI.
Also when I saw groom took bride’s hand and whispered “GANBARONE (Let’s make it a nice day together)” to her, I realized the bonds of the wife & husband and my heart fraught with great emotion.

芸妓・舞妓さんの舞のご披露やご友人からの余興・新郎新婦様が洋装姿でお色直し入場されました際に綺麗でご親族様からも歓声がわきあがりました。
本当に楽しいご披露宴でしたね。

The relatives cheered during the dance performance by Geiko & Maiko, and the performance from bride & groom’s friends, and when bride & groom appeared dressed in wedding gown & tuxedo.
It was a really wonderful reception.

ご披露宴の後、香港に戻られてから新郎新婦様よりメールが届きました。
「始まるまでは緊張して夜も眠れず、早く過ぎてほしいと思いましたが、夢のような一日で、あっという間に過ぎさびしいです。日本での最後に、京都上賀茂神社・高台寺土井という和の雰囲気を感じられる場所で挙げられて本当に良かったです。料理も皆さんから大好評で、私達は殆ど食べられなかったのが唯一の心残　りです。（笑）土井さんのお庭や料亭の雰囲気も非常に好評で、ＬＳＴを選んで良かったと心から思っています。」

After the reception, when bride and groom have returned to Hong Kong, they gave me a message.
“Before the wedding, as we were strained and couldn’t sleep well at night, we wanted the wedding day to pass by fast, but the wedding day was like a dream, and it made us sad that the time passed so fast. It was a great time to have held the wedding ceremony and reception at Kamigamo Shrine & Kodaiji DOI which were full of Japanese atmosphere at a last day in Japan. The guests have said that the cuisine was so delicious, it was pity for us that we couldn’t have much time to enjoy the dishes(LOL). As the atmosphere and the garden of DOI was so popular from the guests, we were sure that we were right to choose LST.”

心から嬉しかったです。ありがとうございます。
