本日、上賀茂神社においてＬＳＴ本殿下見相談会を開催させて頂きました。
Today, we had a LST Honden Visitation & Consultation event at Kamigamo Shrine.

本日の京都は34度という真夏日の様な猛暑でした。
そのような中、たくさんのお客様にお越しいただきまして
ありがとうございました。
Today’s Kyoto was 34℃, it was a very hot day like a midsummer.
Thank you very much for coming to the event.

普段ご覧いただけない本殿の中をこれから上賀茂神社で
ご結婚式をお考えの新郎新婦様にご案内させて頂き
新郎新婦様からは、
「結婚式のことだけでなく、神社にまつわる話も聞けて良かった」
「普段入れない本殿も見学できてよかった」
など、ご感想を頂きました。
We guided brides and grooms who are planning to have their wedding ceremony at Kamigamo Shrine inside the Honden, which you could not usually step inside.
The bride and groom gave us following words:
“It was great to hear about not only the wedding ceremony but the information of the Shrine”
“It was wonderful to see Honden where we do not have opportunity to go inside”

お下見のあとは、ご用意させて頂いたハイヤーにてみなさまお帰り頂きました。
ご結婚式当日もこのようにＬＳＴにてお車をご用意させていただき
ゲストのみなさまにはスムーズに披露宴会場までご移動頂けるよう
サポートさせて頂いておりますのでご安心くださいませ。
After the visitation, brides and grooms left the shrine with the car which we hired.
LST would also arrange the cars at the wedding day, so your guests could move smoothly to the wedding reception venue.

今日はお天気も良く真っ青の青空と上賀茂神社の草木の緑、鳥居の朱色、
奇麗な色のコントラストに
暑さを感じながらもどこか清々しさを感じられる１日でした。
これから暑い日が続きそうですが、夏バテなどされませんよう

Today was a balmy day which you could feel not only the beginning of the summer but the beautiful contrast of the color of the fine clear blue sky, the greenery of Kamigamo Shrine, the Torii’s red.

6月18日（土）、同志社クラーク記念館＆カーラ・ラガッツァにて
ご結婚式と披露パーティーが行われました。

6月18日、クラーク記念館でご結婚式が行われました。
There was a wedding ceremony on 18th of June at Byron Stone Clarke Memorial Hall.

聡様、由実子様、誠におめでとうございます。
お二人は同志社大学に在学中に出会われ、今日にいたります。
学生時代を過ごした場所で、「誓う」なんて本当に素敵ですね。
Mr. Satoshi, Ms. Yumiko, congratulation.
They met each other while they were studying at Doshisha University.
It is wonderful to make a vow at the place where they spend their university days.

梅雨の時期、雨の恵みをうけて木々の緑が濃くなり、雨上がりにキラキラと輝く様子は本当に綺麗ですね。
そして、この時期に咲く花といえば紫陽花。
ウエディングでも会場装花等でよく使われるお花。
独特なフォルムと優しい色合いがとても素敵で大好きなお花です。
In the rainy season in Japan, it is when greenery turn its color deeper by the rich shower and how beautiful leaves shine itself after the rain!
Also, the flower that blooms in this time of year is “hydrangea.”
This flower is used often for the decoration of the reception room.
It is one of the flower which I love whose unique form and its gentle colors.

見頃を迎えている紫陽花を鎌倉まで見に行ってきました。
I went to Kamakura to see hydragea whom are at their best in full bloom.


色とりどりの紫陽花にため息。
I couldn’t help but sigh to the beautifulness of coloful hydragea.

7月初旬までは楽しめるようです。
やっぱり季節ならではの風景や空気感、そこに生きている植物や生き物にはその時その時のパワーが漲っている気がします。
It is said that you could enjoy the hydragea until the beginning of July.
I do always feel that scenery, atmosphere, the plants and animals have a different living power in every seasons.

京都では善峰寺や三千院、三室戸寺が紫陽花の名所としても有名です。
私は緑と水が清らかな三千院の紫陽花がとても綺麗だった事を覚えています。また、ぷらっとお散歩の時には、哲学の道でも色とりどりの紫陽花に出会えましたよ。皆様もぜひお楽しみ下さいませ。
In Kyoto, the temples such like Yoshiminedera, Sanzenin, and Mimurotoji are famous for its hydragea.
I remember that the hydragea of Sanzenin who has pure water and clear green were very beautirul.
Also, when I went to have a walk, I met with coloful hydragea at “Tetsugaku-no-Michi” too.
Please enjoy the flowers in the rainy season.

先日、四条通りを歩いていると「コンチキチン」というお囃子の音が聞こえてきました。
One day, when I was walking down Shijyo-Douri, I heard the sound of ohayashi, “Konchikichin♪”
※Hayashi is a group of performers who provide musical accompaniment for Japanese traditional performance act such as Noh, kabuki, rakugo, and in festival.

そういえば祇園祭まであと１ヶ月。
例年このくらいの時期になると京都市街の色々なところでお囃子の練習が始まります。
It is already one more month until Gion-Matsuri.
Every year of this time, the sound of ohayashi’s practice could be heard in many places in Kyoto.

京都で暮らすようになって８年目、祇園祭の様子は毎年目にしていますが
今年も改めて「あ〜京都だなぁ」と感じることができました。
普段から様々な寺社仏閣に行かせて頂いたり、
また日常生活の中で祇園囃子を耳にしたり、時には舞妓さんに出会ったり。
I have been living in Kyoto for 8 years, and I have been seeing the Gion-Matsuri, but I felt “This is KYOTO” again this year.
I usually go to many shrines and temples,
and hearing these sound of Gion-Hayashi in daily life,
and sometime I see Maiko-san.

何だか当たり前のようになっていましたがそれって実はとっても贅沢なことですよね。
It had been natural to me, but it was a very luxurious life wasn’t it?

京都が好きという理由で京都に住んでいるからこそ、これからもふとした瞬間の贅沢を
楽しんでいきたいと思います。
I am living in Kyoto because I love Kyoto, so I would like to have fun in this luxurious moment.

I went to support the bride and groom’s wedding reception who had their photo shooting in April.
The photo shooting day was their day to entering in the family register.

前撮り当日の輝く笑顔に加え、挙式当日は感動の涙も加わり
とてもキラキラ輝いていらっしゃいました。
The day of photo shooting, they had had a bright smile, but also at the wedding day, the smile and tears made them more look happy and bright.

入籍日・ご結婚式当日と人生の節目節目にお手伝いできましたことに
大きな喜びを感じます。
The registering day and the wedding day, I am very glad for the opportunity to help at such a big event in their life.

頂いた名前入りのボールペン、まずは新郎新婦様へお手紙を書くのに

昨日、高台寺土井「松の間」にてご結婚式のサポートに
行ってまいりました。
Yesterday, I went to Kodaiji DOI “Matsu-no-ma” to support the wedding reception.

兎年の新郎様とうさぎの様に寂しがりやと仰られる可愛らしい
新婦様が大切なご友人様の為に選ばれた引菓子。
思わず、可愛い!!の一言。
食べてしまうのが本当に勿体ないぐらでした。
The groom whose zodiac is rabbit, and the bride who gets lonely easily like rabbit and also cute have selected this thanks-for-coming-gift for their important friends.
Everybody couldn’t resist to say “Cute!!”
It was so cute that it was pity to eat it.

Also, the bride and groom were both very fashionable and the photography of theirs seemed like a scene from a foreign novel.


ご会食でご披露された、お二人の「ウクレレ演奏」。
優しく控えめな音色で、私も習い始めようかと思う程、素敵でした。
The bride and groom’s performance of ukulele during the reception.
It was such a gentle and sweet sound that it made me think to start to learn it.

One day, my client who had held there wedding ceremony at Kamigamo Shrine this March sent me a handmade album and letter!

思いもよらぬ贈り物に　「嬉しい」の一言では
言い表せない　幸せな気持ちになりました。
This surprise present made me so happy that I could not express “happy” enough.

本日、上賀茂神社に行って参りました。
Today, I went to Kamigamo Shrine.

ご結婚式のサポートはもちろんのこと、平日にも週に１〜２度ほど
上賀茂神社に行かせて頂く機会がございます。
その度に豊かな自然にほっと落ち着く気持ちを覚えるのですが、
この時期はなんといっても緑の美しさ。
雨でしっとりと輝く緑に思わず目をうばわれてしまいました。
I have an oppotunity to visit Kamigamo Shrine not only for the support of the wedding ceremony but also I visit Kamigamo Shrine once or twice in weekdays.
I always feel comfortable and calm by its rich nature, but this time of year’s admirableness is the greenery’s beauty.
My eyes were captivated in spite of myself for its beautifulness of the wet green.

梅雨には梅雨の良さがあると気付かせてくれた景色でした。
It was a scenery which made me notice that there is virtue in the rainy season.
