We had dinner with the people from Kamigamo shrine the other day.

We enjoyed conversation on our daily life and I was especially impressed by following words.

“We try to welcome our guests in unchanged manner even ten years later.”

“Every day starts from zero, we believe so and we do our best every day with fresh feeling.”

I strongly felt that we had to provide great service to our client couples, guests and also to Kamigamo shrine so that we can make them happy.

It was the day that I could feel so thankful that we could assist our clients’ wedding at Kamigamo shrine.

A nakai-san (=waitress) kindly told us about the history of Kamigamo shrine and “GION Festival”. And we were so impressed with the timely topic and her natural service and hospitality.

LST has been holding an exhibition “WEDDING KYOTO” at LST BOTAN since July 7th.

Our original wedding costumes specially designed for the weddings at Kamigamo shrine or Kiyomizu-dera temple are displayed along with other wedding dresses and the wedding photographs.

Please enjoy the exhibition in the warm atmosphere of “Machiya”, the traditional wooden Kyoto architecture.

6月に香港よりお越しのご夫婦さまが
世界遺産二条城にてウエディングフォトを撮影くださいました。

お問い合わせをいただいてから約20日間、
英語にてプラン内容やスケジュールについてご案内をさせていただき、
撮影前日にLSTでのお衣装選びで初対面となりました。

おふたりとても仲が良く、結婚して十数年経っても、
こうして日々を楽しんでいらっしゃるおふたりとの撮影は
とても温かく素敵なひと時でございました。

THE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AT THE WORLD HERITAGE SITE; NIJO CASTLE

A couple from Hong Kong used our wedding photo service at the World Heritage Site, Nijo Castle in June.

We met them for the first time on just a day before the photo shooting to choose the costume.
Before that, we had been in touch for about 20 days since their first contact to us and discussed the plan and schedule in English.

The two love each other so much.
Having been married over a decade, they enjoy their everyday life together like this.
We could share the happy moment with them during the photo session.

This time, we prepared Japanese traditional toys to make their wedding photos the great memory.

We were happy that they enjoyed the photography.
We cannot wait to see the photos!

MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY

A couple who had got married with our service two years ago got a baby (still in the tummy), and came back to LST for the maternity photography.

They would like to show the baby “you were in here” and also wants to take some photos of just two of them for the last time.

The husband, a shinshoku (shinto priest) of Kamigamo shrine is always very kind and his wife has charming smile. The baby must have sensed the parents’ happy atmosphere and moved actively in the mom’s tummy during the photo session.
We spent a happy moment with them.

HAMO-ZUSHI (SUSHI WITH CONGER) FROM KYORYOURI KINOBU

“Kyo-ryori KINOBU (ryoutei restaurant)” brought us a summer gift; “Hamo-zushi (sushi with conger)”.

Hamo (conger) has been believed to be very nutritious food for a long time as it has a strong vitality.
Even before the modern high-speed transport was developed, it could be delivered live to Kyoto after the long trip from Hyogo or Akashi area.

We appreciate a lot this warm hearted gift from KINOBU just in time the hot summer starts.

July starts tomorrow.

WEDDING CONSULTANCY MEETING AT NIJO CASTLE

Yesterday, we held a wedding consultancy meeting at Nijo Castle.
We appreciate that so many bride and groom-to-be joined the meeting.

Chairs and tables are prepared for the guests of the wedding.
They will be served with Matcha (=green tea) and sweets in traditional Japanese way while enjoying live “koto” music.

This beautiful view of Seiryu-en garden is available only for the couples who have their wedding at Nijo Castle.

Many couples who participated in the event were so impressed with the view and said,
“It’s beautiful much more than I imagined!”
“I’m completely overwhelmed. ”

They seemed to have felt solemn yet gorgeous atmosphere of the wedding at Nijo Castle.

We plan next wedding consultancy meeting at Nijo Castle end of July.
