  The cherry trees started blooming as if they were celebrating their marriage.

• 江戸時代初期に作庭された「方丈庭園」の桜も見事に満開
• The cherry blossoms were in full bloom in “Hojo Garden” which was created in the early Edo period.

海外からお越しになったゲストも多く、
歴史文化遺産である壮大な知恩院さんでのお式と、京都の桜の彩り、
新郎様・新婦様はもちろん、ゲストの方にとっても
生涯において忘れられない素晴らしい1日となったことかと存じます。

Today, I assisted a wedding ceremony taken place at Chion-in, the head temple of Jodo (Pure Land) Sect.

It was an international marriage between a foreign groom and a Japanese bride.

Many guests traveled from overseas to attend the wedding.
The wedding ceremony at the historical cultural heritage “Chion-in” with the beautiful cherry blossoms will forever remain in the memory of all the guests as well as the bride and groom.
