2014年、春の二条城でのご結婚式がスタートいたしました。

徳川家康公による築城以来、400有余年の歴史を刻む二条城。
江戸幕府の始まりから、大政奉還・明治維新など、
歴史を見つめてきた重要な史跡。

この場所で行われる挙式は大切な方の前で愛を誓う「人前式」。

十二単の衣装や雅楽、三献の儀式など、
和の文化が組み込まれた儀式はとても感動的です。

また、3月下旬より二条城では桜のライトアップが公開され、

雄大な敷地に桜が幻想的に照らし出される様子は、
息をのむほどの美しさです。

The wedding plan at Nijo Castle in Spring 2014 has become available.

Nijo Castle has more than 400 years history since its foundation by the Great General Ieyasu Tokugawa.
It is one of the most important Japanese cultural heritage which witnessed various historical events such as “Taisei-Hokan” and “Meiji Restoration”.

The ceremony you could have at this castle is civil wedding, where in you and your loved one will pledge the everlasting love each other in front of the important people in your lives.

It’s so impressive to have a wedding filled with traditional Japanese culture; “Junihitoe” (=the twelve-layered ceremonial kimono of Japanese court ladies in Heian era) as a wedding costume, “Gagaku” as back ground music and exchanging nuptial cups “SANKON-NO-GI”.

They will start lighting up the cherry blossoms at Nijo Castle at the end of March.
